A busy mom and entrepreneur shares her experience completing reflexology certification
Emily Bolger is a recent graduate of the By the Moon Reflexology Certification program. Emily is from Richmond, Ontario, a small town on the west end of Ottawa. She operates Willow Wellness where she offers esthetics and now reflexology sessions to her clients. During the completion of my Reflexology course with By The Moon, I definitely struggled with some obstacles. While working two jobs, getting my son to and from hockey and making sure I made some time for my family it got pretty stressful and easy to think of giving up. During the week of hands on training in Belleville I was surrounded by the most amazing group of women. It was really encouraging to be around such strong, like minded group. I think it pushed me to keep going.
Often I had all of my books and laptop spread across the stands during hockey practice and I always used the time between clients at work to get some studying in and go over my techniques. I also made over 190 cue cards, that stayed in my bag or purse at all times. I posted on social media anytime I had an opening to fill my spots for practice sessions and that really helped me memorize the sequence faster and get to my 70 practice session requirement. I set goals of what I wanted to accomplish each week but didn't get down when one couldn't be reached.
