Birth Support
By the Moon Holistic Reproductive Practitioners are Fertility, Birth and Postpartum Doulas with multiple certifications including Doula, Reflexology and Energy Healing. We work in teams of two for the benefit of our clients and practitioners.
Clients benefit from a variety of skills and techniques including meditation and visualization, advanced comfort measures, energy healing techniques for birth and reflexology.
We attend home and hospital births, home water births, hospital water births, VBACs, HBACs, breech births, premature births, loss births, birth after infertility, birth after loss, birth after trauma, surrogacy, births for same sex parents or single parents, surgical births, medicated and unmedicated births with midwives, family doctors and obstetricians.
Our team attends births in Belleville, Kingston, Cobourg and surrounding areas.
Client contracts typically include:

initial no obligation interview (no charge)

2 in home prenatal visits

unlimited email and telephone support

24/7 on call support from 38 weeks until birth (negotiable for special circumstances)

attendance at birth from the desire for support until approximately 2 hours post birth

reflexology, comfort measures, energy healing at birth as desired

breastfeeding support at birth

2 in home postpartum visits, can include in home reflexology and infant feeding support if desired
*Birth support clients are encouraged to take advantage of maternity reflexology or prenatal energy healing sessions during pregnancy, especially in the last 5 weeks of pregnancy. There are many benefits to receiving healing support for prevention, stress relief and birth preparation.
Typical birth packages are $1100 + HST
