What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese energy healing practice that induces a deep state of relaxation, promotes healing and can be used to balance and clear the chakras. Healing is supported on all levels of the client including emotional/mental healing, past life healing, healing past traumas, and more.
Reiki is always safe and can never cause harm. Reiki is a spiritually guided life energy. Reiki never depletes your energy as the Reiki practitioner. Anyone can learn Reiki and receive the attunements.
After this training will I be prepared to establish my own Holistic Reproductive Practitioner practice?
Yes. Immediately following your practical training you will have the skills and attunements to start practicing on yourself, friends and family or professionally. Anyone can benefit from energy healing and reflexology regardless of state of health and you will have additional skills to market yourself specifically to people who are trying to conceive, pregnant, giving birth, healing after a birth or loss if you wish to do so. You might start offering distance sessions (working from your home with clients in their homes), a mobile practice (where you travel to your clients), you might set up a professional treatment room in your home, perhaps you already have a healing practice where you will be adding this modality, or you can look into renting or sharing a treatment room in another professional practice. You can start finding holistic practitioners in your community to see what a typical fee is for similar sessions. In fact, I highly recommend you start scheduling sessions and potentially births as soon as possible. Jump in while the energy is high!
What if I have previous Reiki training, doula training or reflexology training, can I be exempt from part of the training?
Due to the way I offer Holistic Reproductive Practitioner support, with clients receiving energy healing support and/or reflexology at their births, a combination of energy healing, reflexology and holistic health coaching during their conception journeys, postpartum etc., this intensive and full curriculum is not easily divided into individual modalities. What we learn from energy healing impacts the way we offer reflexology. Having reflexology impacts how we offer birth support etc. I am confident that all students regardless of their previous training and experience will benefit from the full By the Moon Holistic Reproductive Practitioner training program. However, I have offered tuition reductions for those who are cross training.
How much does reflexology training cost?
By the Moon's core Reflexology training includes Fertility & Maternity Reflexology training. For information about reflexology training and cost see the reflexology training information page. For Certified Reflexologists who have completed reflexology training with another organization who would like to take By the Moon Fertility & Maternity Reflexology training you can complete the online training.
How much does doula training cost?
Many doula school's offer separate certification courses for fertility doula, birth doula, postpartum doula and loss doula training, each with an individual cost of $400-$550 each plus continuing education seminars. By the Moon's Holistic Reproductive Practitioner training includes multiple certifications and modalities in one training program. Upon completion students have the knowledge and a variety of skills to support clients at all stages of life including but not limited to fertility and infertility, pregnancy and birth, postpartum, loss, peri-menopause and menopause with full certifications as reflexologists and Reiki practitioners. There is no need to take additional training as a Childbirth Educator. Our alumni offer seminars, retreats, workshops, one on one services and more. Are you eager to get started?
This book is recommended for anyone who is unfamiliar with infertility and the unique effects it has on the people whom it affects. A must read for anyone who conceived with ease but who wants to support people who are trying to conceive. Can be very confirming for those who have been there done that.
Not a course requirement. I will always make resource suggestions that I feel will contribute to your success. You are in charge of your own learning.
